Do you know that 2009, Sevillana and all the other distributers of electricity in Spain (are the any others?) have put up their charges for electricity consumption, as well as now billing monthly rather than bi-monthly!
Well Inspirations Marbella are always looking to save our clients money and have therefore come up with an invention alongside our electrical department to offer an ingenious energy saving device to save money on your AC/HEAT.
We all know what our bills used to be, well they will be getting bigger and what with the reduction in rental prices to holiday-renters the cost of AC & heating is a real issue.
Our idea is simple (but very effective). An infa-red movement sensor is installed to a re-designed circuit breaker into the main electrical switchboard that controls the time the AC is active. On sensing movement, the AC comes on and is timed until the next movement (we currently have set from 1 second to 35 minutes). This allows the usage of electric for the AC to on be on for a maximum of 35 minutes until it senses movement within the area of the sensor. The advantages of this are obvious, if renters leave on the AC or heat and go out for the day the usage is minimal (compared to the AC unit cooking your electric all day), when the occupants come back into the property the sensor senses the movement and re-activates the AC. Same applies at night, it usually takes a little while to get to sleep, when the occupants are asleep the heat/AC is not really an issue!
We have also designed a over-ride system in order for owners or designated occupants can use the AC not timed.
