The proposed Mercadona Supermarket should be opening quite soon on Los Naranjos de Marbella. There has been a hive of activity the last few weeks and it is understood that the supermarket chain has put pressure on the developers to complete ASAP in order for them to open. They are the first in what is believed to be a number of well known stores to want space on the new commercial area. This is excellent news for Los Naranjos de Marbella, the community, holiday-guests and surrounding businesses and we welcome this development as active promoters of this area.

After a major refurb and investment, the new clubhouse facility on the Los Naranjos de Marbella complex opened their doors this evening, and what a difference!
The evening was invite only and the conversation that I had with the charming Jean-Pierre is that he realistic plans for the facility.

The interior has been changed dramatically, with a sense of light and space being provided by the new window elevations. Externally, all furnishings have been renewed with quality dining and chill-out areas with loads of shade and sun if required.

The garden area has been regenerated and sun-lounging area gives that “puro-beach” chill-out feel. One noticeable absence is the kiddies pool has been decked over, to give more space I believe.

On conclusion, I believe and certainly canvassing the guests, the new La Flor de Los Naranjos is a quality addition for all the owners, local residents and holiday-makers alike.
